When Suraj learns about this, he beats up Yashpal, one of his friends, who swears revenge.

Meanwhile, Tulsi falls ill and goes to see Dr. Anjali D'souza, who diagnoses her with blood cancer. She tells Tulsi that she has only a few months to live and advises her to undergo chemotherapy. Tulsi refuses to take the treatment, as she does not want to lose her hair and beauty. She also does not tell Suraj or her children about her condition.

One night, Yashpal attacks Suraj on his way home and stabs him to death. Tulsi is devastated by the loss of her husband and decides to have her children adopted by different families before she dies. She contacts a social worker named Guruji, who helps her find suitable adoptive parents for her children.

Tulsi gives away Ravi to a rich businessman and his wife, who treat him well but do not allow him to meet his siblings. She gives away Munni to a childless couple, who love her as their own daughter but are very strict and religious. She gives away Raju to a poor farmer and his wife, who are kind and generous but struggle to make ends meet. She gives away Chutki to an annoying man and his wife, who have crooked teeth and torture her with their bad habits.

Tulsi visits her children occasionally and tries to keep in touch with them through letters and phone calls. She also writes a diary for each of them, where she records her memories and feelings for them. She hopes that they will read it someday and understand why she did what she did.

As time passes, Tulsi's health deteriorates and she becomes bedridden. She asks Guruji to arrange a meeting with all her children for one last time. Guruji manages to bring them all together at a temple, where they see each other after a long time The article continues as follows: At the temple, Tulsi hugs her children and tells them how much she loves them. She also gives them each a diary and asks them to read it after she is gone. She tells them that they are her life and her reason to live. She also tells them that they have a bright future ahead of them and that they should always be happy and united.

The children are confused and sad by their mother's words and actions. They do not understand why she is giving them away and why she is talking as if she is dying. They ask her to come with them and stay with them, but she refuses. She tells them that she has to go to a place where there is no pain and no sorrow.

Tulsi then bids farewell to her children and leaves the temple with Guruji. She collapses on the way and is taken to a hospital, where she breathes her last. The children are informed about their mother's death and they rush to the hospital. They see her body lying on a bed, covered with a white cloth. They break down in tears and hug her, calling out her name.

The movie ends with a voice-over of Tulsi, who says that she is happy to see her children together and that she will always watch over them from heaven.
